My first job was that of a school teacher, with a salary package of 67$ per month. I worked there for one year, and to my own surprise, I saved my entire salary. Not for one month, but for one whole year.
No exception, every single penny saved, suppressing all the urges to buy anything for myself for one whole year.
And at the end of one year, I had 804$ in my account. Using which, I bought a couch and a dining table to my home, which was a long time dream of my mom. That was a moment when I watched my dad helping the truck driver to carry the furniture inside, and my mom are excited.
And that’s when I had this epiphany Damn I grew up :)
